The metal workshop at
our Queen St, Onehunga, premises. This is where I not only made
the metal stands (there is one in the foreground that I have
just completed brazing together ready to be cleaned and painted),
but I also prepared by punching the valve base holes and drilling
the blank aluminium chassis ready for wiring and assembly on
the bench. Note the gas bottle set which I inherited along with
the other tools from my wife's father's plumbing workshop in
Mt Roskill (he passed away a few months after my arrival in New
Zealand). |
