My total paid service in the
British Army amounted to 27 years. Only my National Service was
full time, the rest was part time with many breaks. The Arms
of service were as follows, my National Service was in theRoyal
Corps Of Signals. After release I became part of the Army Emergency
Reserve, then joining the Parachute Regiment in the Territorial
Army. I joined the Home Service within the Royal Anglian Regiment.
Finally as a sergeant instructor in the Army Cadet Force as part
of the Essex Yeomanry. |
